I finally got some pictures from my NYC and DC trip online which means I have also kinda caught up with my work load (The truth is I am shirking my responsibilities). Most of the photos were of paintings and sculptures. I won't post all of these - as there are tons. Well I'll post a few. Big thanks to Matt for the NYC walking tour and to Wendy for letting us follow her around the Martha Stewart offices. Yes that right, the belly of the Omnimedia empire, a dream come true for me. A reminder to everyone in Denver: mark you calendars for October 27th's Dia de los Muertos event at CHAC. Check out CHAC's sight for details. There will also be a first friday opening but the "real event" (with music, dancing and pan de muertos) is the 27th. So here's a quote from Martha Stewart's October tips concerning the Day of the Dead: "Borrow from this ancient tradition by creating a home altar of your own, leaving gifts of food, flowers, and good wishes for your departed friends and family." It's all good.
